The rooms already exist.

Most people no longer work in one building. They work from a café before a meeting, a hotel lobby between flights, a bar at 4pm when it's empty and the light is good. Free:Desk doesn't build workspaces — it takes the places your city already has and makes them trusted, usable and, increasingly, reservable.

What we do

Free:Desk collects what matters when you work somewhere: Wi-Fi, outlets, noise, whether a call is fine, whether the chair survives two hours. Every line says where the information came from and how confident we are. Anything we can't confirm stays marked unknown.

Two kinds of place

Some venues are Free:Desk partners — you can book a seat and what you pay becomes venue credit to use there. Everywhere else is simply a good room the community has mapped. We never imply a venue is a partner when it isn't.

The city decides

Request the places you want. Recorded demand helps us prioritise outreach, but never guarantees activation. Member names stay private unless someone opts in.
